The Role of Point-of-Care testing in a Disaster (Plan):

8:00 - 10:00 a.m. Presentation

 

“The Role of Point-of-Care Testing in a Disaster (Plan)” features a Medical Technologist Health Services Officer, who is involved in an array of missions related to disaster and emergency response and a panel of POCCs. The forum will cover various aspects of a disaster planning including:

  • An example of a Community based cooperative plan

  • A hospital based plan

  • A discussion of a guidance document under development in the field.

Join the CPOCT division for a hot breakfast and scientific presentation and hear keynote speaker Daniel Hesselgesser, along with our expert panel of POCCs, Diane Davis; Kerstin Halverson and Peggy Mann.

If you plan on just attending the Clinical Lab Expo, complimentary badges are available

 

You are required to fill out the *Expo Only Registration* in order to receive a badge
This will also allow you to register for the Special Event POC Forum if you are not registering for a full day at AACC Conference. The *Expo* badge will allow you to visit the commercial exhibits.
Expo Only Registrations received by June 13, 2013 are free then cost is $25 per person.

CE Credits: The CPOCT Forum provides 1.5 ACCENT® Continuing Education Credits. Instructions on how to obtain your ACCENT credits will be made available to you on the day of the event.

 

The POC Forum is an educational event of nominal cost to participants as it is generously funded by sponsors. The event usually occurs the last day of the AACC meeting.  The 2013 planning committee consists of:
