Join us for
another exciting Point of Care Coordinators meeting to be held in
our states capital at the Montgomery Cardiovascular Associates
Building on the south campus of Baptist Health on October 19, 2007.
With
medicine and healthcare becoming more managed the hospital industry
has to balance quality of care, financial reimbursement along with
patient length of stay to stay profitable. One benefit to both
patients and the hospitals is through the use of tight glycemic
controls. Under tight glycemic control patients receive more
aggressive care while hospitals benefit from the decreased length of
stay of these patients.
