Health First will again be the location and host for this event attended by members of the Central Florida POC Network, and other Laboratory and Patient Care Professionals  involved in Point of Care Testing.

Course Objectives

  • Upon completion of this course the participant will be able to:

  • Describe how anticoagulants affect the basic pathways of coagulation cascades

  • Discuss new & changing requirements for CAP accreditation

  • Identify approaches to assure test quality

  • Describe clinical applications of the Thromboelastograph Coagulation Analyzer

The evening before the Conference, on November 16 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm  attendees are invited to attend an informal reception & roundtable discussion at the Cocoa Beach Hilton, 1550 N. Atlantic Beach, Cocoa Beach Florida.
