Organizational Structure

Decided that a simple structure comprising a chairperson and secretary would be acceptable.

Logo Logo should include an apple as the main design element with the NYC skyline incorporated as a secondary design element. Carol Pagliaro will contact the appropriate person for a mock-up design to be reviewed by the group at its next meeting.
Organization name New York City Point-of-Care Network was selected as the group’s official name.  
Mission statement “The New York City Point of Care Network provides a forum to communicate and collaborate on current and future POCT issues, and serves as a resource for POCT professionals” was agreed upon as the NYCPOCN mission statement.  
Next Meeting June 8, 2005 was selected as next meeting date. Review and discuss web page and logo design. 
Ideas for future meetings Rick Lambert requested that group members send ideas for future meetings to him via email.
