Our 2015 Meeting and
Vendor Fair was held on
June 19 at Sentara
RMH in Harrisonburg, VA
Over 30 POCCs and
laboratory professional attended the 2015 Virginia
POCCs Annual Meeting and Vendor Fair at Sentara RMC
in Harrisonburg, VA on June 19. The meeting included
an overview of the RMH facility (with some attendees
getting a tour as well), a business meeting,
presentations on 'CLIA Updates:
Competency Assessment, Personnel' and
'NSTEMI Guidelines: Focused on
Troponin', and a vendor fair.

Competency Assessment, Personnel'. Her talk included
definition & Introductions; regulations, rationale,
competency assessment policies, tips, FAQs, personnel
requirements, and more.
