About our presenter:
Brad Karon, MD, PhD is the director of the
Hospital Clinical Laboratories, Point of
Care Testing, and Laboratory Services
(phlebotomy) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester
Minnesota. He is an Associate Professor of
Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo
Clinic. Dr. Karon's primary interest is in
critical and point of care testing. Dr.
Karon has published and reviewed articles in
many scientific journals, holds multiple
education leadership positions at Mayo
including vice-chair of education and
associate program director of the pathology
residency, and is past-chair of the Critical
and Point of Care Testing division of AACC.
