SAFE-TEC Clinical Products, Inc. is active in the design and marketing of micro-blood collection and dispensing systems to the global medical community. These products are proprietary in nature and designed to improve efficiency and healthcare worker safety through the use of engineering controls.

PRODUCT:

 

MICROSAFE is one-piece plastic tube used to collect and dispense whole blood from a finger-stick. The tube fills automatically by capillary action while the air-vent regulates the preset volume. Expel the sample by squeezing the unfilled portion of the tube and

the tube is then discarded.

 

The tubes are used in diagnostic test that require a micro sampling of whole blood. Collection tubes are available in 5 micro liters through 80 micro liters. This product is ideal for the Point of Care market. Some manufactures of bedside analyzers integrate this product as part of their pick up and delivery system.
